You will be well aware that we are all swimming each day for these couple of weeks and I am really impressed with the progress that the children are making. Having lessons every day seems to keep the momentum up, and the children do seem to gain more out of it. We are very tired when we get back to school (me included!) and we are only really focusing on our reading every day when we return from the pool. There isn’t enough time in the day to fit everything else in, so we are alternating between maths, handwriting, writing and RE in the afternoons. It is difficult to keep the children focused when they are so tired, and by the end of the week, we are all ready for a nap!
Next week we will begin going to the library again. Thank you for your patience, it has been tricky organising the library books outside of Room 6. We will also be doing some computer work with our swimming photos, so keep an eye out for this on our blog.
