Our Class Bunny

We would like to introduce you to our class bunny. He is 3 months old and his name is Cookie - because he looks like coookies and cream ice cream. We have a hutch outside our classroom where Cookie lives during the school day, and he gets fed lots of yummy vegetables that the children bring from home. His favourite foods are carrot, cabbage, brocoli, cauliflower leaves and apple.

The children are learning that if they sit very still, then Cookie will come up to them for a pat, but if they chase him then he doesn't like it. It has been very tricky trying not to get too excited when he is jumping around the classroom but we are getting used to him being around. Cookie has a special harness on because he is extremely hard to catch! The harness means that I can catch him to put him away.
